Hi!
I'm pretty new here, so please forgive me if this is something already
discussed.
I recently found a HH (and have already passed it on) and I wanted to
list it online at LBNA website, but wasn't able to since the HH wasn't
registered/its creator wasn't registered. What do I do?
Should I register the HH? How do I get 'credit' online for finding
it? (does it matter?)
Thanks for your help!

If it isn't listed on LbNA, then there is nothing you can do. LbNA
doesn't allow you to record finds on unlisted boxes. Atlas Quest
does allow that, but only if you are a premium member. Did you check
to see if the HH is listed on AQ? What is the name of the HH?

"Credit" on-line doesn't really matter to a lot of people. What IS
important is sending an email to the creator of the hitchhiker to let them
know when & where you found it. Usually there is an email address on the
logbook for the hitchhiker so you know who to contact.
We enjoy getting messages from people that have found one of the 3
hitchhikers we created.

you will find that there is a lot of hitchhikers not listed. there are also
many boxes that are not listed on lbna or on atlas quest.
as for getting credit, the only credit you really need is to yourself. the
logging of finds on either atlas quest or lbna is simply a matter of choice.
there are many letterboxers that only log clues in their logbooks, no where
else.
you might find your questions of this nature more readily answered in the

Thanks to everyone! I appreciate the tips. The HH didn't have an
email, only a snail-mail address. I am going to drop a post card to
the creator to say that I found it where I did and that I 'passed it
along'.
Cheers! And thanks,
